The panel air filter, often called a "replacement air filter," is designed to fit into a vehicle’s original airbox, replacing the OEM air filter. It is made from high-performance materials that enhance airflow while providing more efficient filtration, capturing impurities as small as 7 microns (compared to the OEM filter's 10-micron capability).
BMC air filters are manufactured using a "Full Moulding" process, which allows the signature red filter to be produced from a single mold without any welded seams, reducing the risk of breakage. The rubber used in BMC filters is durable, long-lasting, and offers excellent adhesion to various airbox shapes.
Constructed with multi-layered cotton gauze soaked in low-viscosity oil, BMC filters are further reinforced with an epoxy-coated alloy mesh, protecting against gasoline fumes and oxidation caused by air moisture.
All BMC air filters come pre-oiled and can be washed and restored to their original condition using the dedicated BMC regeneration kit.
